Yahweh wanted to crush it with suffering; if he offers his life as a sin offering, he will see offspring, he will prolong his days, and through him the will of Yahweh will be fulfilled. Following the ordeal endured by his soul, he will see the light and will be fulfilled. By his knowledge the righteous, my servant, will justify the multitudes by overwhelming himself with their sins. Therefore he will have his share among the multitudes, and with the mighty he will divide the spoil, because he gave himself up to death and was numbered among the criminals, while he bore the sin of multitudes and interceded for the criminals.
