Second glorious mystery

Ascension. (Mk 16, 14-20)

“Finally, he manifested himself to the Eleven themselves while they were at table: he reproached them for their lack of faith and the hardness of their hearts because they had not believed those who had beheld him risen. Then he said to them, “Go into the whole world. Proclaim the gospel to all creation. He who believes and is baptized will be saved; whoever refuses to believe will be condemned. These are the signs that will accompany those who become believers: in my name they will cast out demons; they will speak in new languages; they will take snakes in their hands and, if they drink a deadly poison, it will not harm them; they will lay their hands on the sick, and the sick will be well. The Lord Jesus, after speaking to them, was taken up into heaven and sat at the right hand of God. As for them, they went everywhere to proclaim the Gospel. The Lord worked with them and confirmed the Word by the signs that accompanied it. "
