It should be noted that the Virgin guided the six seers and through them an entire parish. However, like a Mother who educates her children, the Virgin did not ask the seers to recite the three rosaries overnight. Learning to pray was gradual. First, an I Believe in God, then a dozen of a Rosary etc ... until asking for three hours of prayer per day. These three hours include the Holy Mass.

The parish of Medjugorje put into practice the requests of the Virgin with the evening program. Two rosaries are recited before Holy Mass, then the third rosary is recited after Holy Mass. Across the world and in order to respond to the call of the Queen of Peace, other parishes have set up this prayer program.

The Rosary is also recited either individually on the Apparition Hill in Medjugorje or together with the parish which organizes specific days of prayer on the Podbrdo. Each group of pilgrims also prays the Rosary on the Hill in their own language, often accompanied by a priest who does the meditations.

It should be noted that for some time, the seer Ivan Dragicevic climbed the Hill of the Apparitions praying the Rosary with the pilgrims from six in the morning. When he is  in front of the statue of Our Lady (the Virgin Mary) at the top of the Hill, he usually gives his testimony.

Parishioners and pilgrims also like to pray the Rosary in the church of St James in Medjugorje in front of the statue of Our Lady of Lourdes.

This rosary is recited every evening in the parish of Medjugorje after Holy Mass to thank the Virgin for her coming.

It can also be recited with specific intentions such as Peace in the world, the sick, priests etc ...
