Masses are generally said in the morning in Medjugorje around 11 am or noon for the French language either at St Jame's church, or in the Jean-Paul II Hall or in the Chapel of the Adoration. It is the number of pilgrims that determines the place of the celebration. To do this, you must go to the information panel near the Information Office (not far from the parish church). On this panel the hour of masses according to the language groups present in Medjugorje are indicated .

In fact, the groups of pilgrims are generally accompanied by priests from France, Switzerland, Belgium or even French-speaking African countries. They are then authorized to celebrate Mass with the consent of their bishop. Since May 2019, pilgrimages have been authorized by the Holy Father to this place. Priests, bishops and cardinals are therefore authorized to celebrate Holy Mass and can accompany or organize pilgrimages themselves with their parishioners, for example.

Masses for the French-speaking pilgrims are generally sung by some members of the community of the Beatitudes present in this place for several years. We thank them very much!
