International masses are held on the 13th of each month on the esplanade, the most important being from May until October. They also take place on Sundays at the esplanade where many bishops accompanied by dozens of priests usually participate.

 

At the end of the ceremony, as the statue of the Virgin of the Rosary of Fatima passes by, parishioners and pilgrims greet her with small white handkerchiefs.
