The apparition of June 13, 1929 in Tuy

The situation of Sister Lucy.

Sister Lucy is now in Tuy (Spain). In fact, the Portuguese Dorothée Sisters had their novitiate in Tuy. Lucie, aged 18, entered it on October 25, 1925. Immediately she went to Pontevedra (Spain) to make her postulancy. She stayed there from October 25, 1925 until July 20, 1926 when she found herself again in Tuy to finish her postulancy. She took the veil on October 2, 1926 and then began her novitiate. After her two years of novitiate, she made profession on October 3, 1928. Six years later, she was again sent to Pontevedra where she remained until May 1937 to return again to Tuy. She remained there until May 1946 and then received the order to return to Portugal. Her desire for retirement and solitude will push her to ask Pope Pius XII for her change to Carmel. On March 25, 1948, she entered the Carmel of Saint Teresa, in Coimbra in Portugal. It was there that she died on February 13, 2005, at the age of 97. His beatification process is currently underway.

The vision of Sister Lucy.

Being in prayer, suddenly, Sister Lucia saw a supernatural light which illuminated the chapel. Then, on the altar, she saw a large cross of light that rose to the ceiling. On the upper part of this cross, she saw the bust of God the Father who, on His breast, carried a luminous dove. On the cross she saw Christ and beside Him a chalice and a large host were hanging. A few drops of blood flowed on the host and in the chalice. They came from His cheeks and His chest wound. Our Lady was on the right side of the cross with her Immaculate Heart in her left hand, as Lucia had seen her at Fatima. This Heart had a crown of thorns and flames. On the right side of the cross, Lucy could read:

   “Grace and Mercy. "

Russia's request for consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

Our Lady said to Sister Lucia:

"The moment has come when God asks the Holy Father to make, in union with all the bishops of the world, the consecration of Russia to my Immaculate Heart, promising to save it by this means".

“There are so many souls whom the justice of God condemns for sins committed against me, that I come to seek reparation. Sacrifice yourself for this intention and pray. "

The situation of the Church in 1929.

There was then a great persecution against the Church. The Communists closed churches and condemned the practice of religion. Moreover, the “mistakes” of the Communists threatened peace all over the world. This is the reason why Heaven asked for reparation and the consecration of Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

Sister Lucy was very insistent and wrote to her confessor to say this:

"The Good Lord promises to put an end to the persecution in Russia, if the Holy Father deigns to do, and orders the bishops of the Catholic world to also make a solemn and public act of reparation and of consecration of Russia to the Most Holy Hearts of Jesus and Mary, and if His Holiness the Pope promises, through the end of this persecution, to approve and recommend the practice of restorative devotion on the first five Saturdays of the month. "

The story of Sister Lucia.

Lucia suffered greatly to see that no pope took the decision of the consecration of Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

She wrote to Tuy on December 2, 1940, the story of the apparition of June 13, 1929.

“This communication took place thus. I had obtained from my superiors and my confessor to make the holy hour from eleven o'clock to midnight, between every Thursday and every Friday. "

“One night, there was only the light of the only lamp in the sanctuary [...] Suddenly a supernatural light illuminated the whole chapel and on the altar appeared a cross of light which reached up to the ceiling. In an even brighter light, we saw in the upper part of the cross a human face with the body up to the waist (the Father), on the chest a dove (the Holy Spirit), and, nailed to the cross, the body of another man (the Son). "

“A little below the belt, one saw, suspended in the air, a chalice and a large host on which fell a few drops of blood which rolled on the cheeks of the Crucified one and also from a wound of the chest. "

“On the right arm of the cross, there was Our Lady [...] (It was Our Lady of Fatima with her Immaculate Heart on her left hand, without sword or roses, but with a crown of thorns and flames.) Under the left arm of the cross, a few letters seemingly made of crystal clear water, flowing over the altar, formed these words: GRACE AND MERCY. "

“I understood that I had been shown the mystery of the Most Holy Trinity, and I received on this mystery lights that I am not allowed to reveal. Then Our Lady said to me: "The moment has come when God asks the Holy Father to make, in union with all the bishops of the world, the consecration of Russia to my Immaculate Heart, promising to save her by this means".

“After some time, I reported to the confessor of Our Lady's request. His Reverence employed some means to make it come true, acting in such a way that it might come to the knowledge of His Holiness Pius XI. "

“In various intimate communications, Our Lord has not ceased to insist on this request, promising recently that if Your Holiness deigned to make the consecration of the World to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, with special mention of Russia and to order that, in union with Your Holiness and at the same time, also make it all the Bishops of the world to shorten the days of tribulation by which He determined to punish the nations by war, famine and various persecutions against the holy Church and Your Holiness. [...] "

“With the greatest respect and reverence, I implore the apostolic blessing. » (Sister Lucy, December 2, 1940).
